Death

This card is about endings that create space for rebirth. Something is ready to be released - a role, belief, or chapter - so that a truer version of you can emerge.

Transformation

The Death card represents profound and unavoidable transformation. Contrary to common fear-based interpretations, this card rarely signifies physical death. Instead, it points to endings that are necessary so that something new and more authentic can emerge. It marks the close of a significant chapter, pattern, belief, or identity that has run its course.

Release

At its core, Death is about release. It asks what must be surrendered - attachments, habits, relationships, or ways of being that no longer serve growth. This release can feel uncomfortable or even painful, but it is ultimately cleansing. What is shed creates space for renewal.

Rebirth

With endings come rebirth and regeneration. Death clears stagnation and initiates a powerful reset. After the decay comes fertile ground; after the fall, a chance to rise transformed. This card signals deep inner change, often subtle at first, but irreversible once begun.

Spiritually, Death is an initiation. It invites surrender to natural cycles and trust in transformation itself. Resistance increases suffering; acceptance accelerates renewal. When Death appears, life is insisting on change - and aligning with it is the path forward.

Death encourages honesty, courage, and willingness to let go. Something is ending because it must, and what follows holds greater truth, vitality, and alignment.
