This course is designed to transition students from theory to practice, guiding them through their first real faction war. You will learn how to apply attack strategies, support your faction, and execute war plans effectively. By the end of LU 304, you will have participated in live combat and gained hands-on experience in faction warfare.

Proper preparation is the key to victory. Before engaging, ensure you:
Stack Energy: Use Xanax leading up to the war to maximize available energy.
Stockpile Medical Supplies: Have Morphine, Blood Bags, and First Aid Kits ready.
Equip the Right Gear: Ensure you have the best weapons and armor available.
Set Revive Preferences: Turn revives ON/OFF based on faction strategy.

Your first attacks will set the tone for your war experience. Key tactics include:
Watching Targets Closely: Watch your best targets closely so you can hit them as soon as they land or leave the hospital.
Maximizing Respect Gains: Attack opponents close to your stats for higher respect.
Timing Attacks for Chains: Ensure your hits contribute to the faction’s war chain.
Using Temporaries Wisely: Items like Pepper Spray and Tear Gas can turn battles in your favor.
Assignment: Choose a faction, select your three best targets. Attack them and analyze the respect earned.

Surviving in war is just as important as attacking. Defensive strategies include:
Self-Hospitalization: If being farmed, use Ipecac Syrup or the wrong blood type to extend hospital stays.
Flying Away: Travel overseas if instructed to avoid giving up points.
Coordinating Revives: Work with faction medics to time revives effectively.
Use Bounties Strategically: Placing bounties on faction members is a great way to keep the faction from losing points while members are offline.
Assignment: Practice leaving the hospital, making an attack, and flying out of Torn as quickly possible.

Even if you are not actively fighting, you can support the faction:
Placing bounties: Put inactive members in the hospital to avoid bleeding.
Spying on Enemies: If you have have spy abilities, provide spy reports to leadership.
Scouting Target Availability: Check when enemy targets are online or offline.
Coordinating in Discord: Stay active in war-related channels for real-time updates.
