How to Set Up and Use FF Scouter (Fair Fight Multiplier Predictor)

If you’re serious about efficiency in wars, FF Scouter is a must-have tool in your Torn toolkit. It predicts the Fair Fight (FF) multiplier for potential targets before you attack — helping you maximize respect and avoid wasting energy on low-multiplier hits.

What is the Fair Fight Multiplier?

The Fair Fight multiplier determines how much respect you earn per attack, based on how your battle stats compare to your target’s.

FF Multiplier ranges from 1x to 3x.
To get the full 3x multiplier, your target’s total battle stats must be at least 75% of yours.

You can only see the actual FF multiplier after you attack — but FF Scouter helps you predict it before making your move.

Setting Up FF Scouter

For PC (preferred):

1. Make sure you have TornTools installed and running.

2. Go to TornPal.com and log in using a Limited or Full Access API key

⚠️ You need to use the same API key later in TornTools settings to sync everything.

3. Link TornTools to TornPal

Open TornTools Settings (left sidebar in Torn)
Go to: Preferences > External Services
Check "Connect to TornPal"
Paste in your API key from earlier
Click "Save"

4. 🧮 Enable FF Scouter Predictions in the same TornTools Settings menu:

Go to: Preferences > FF Scouter
Check the places where you want FF predictions to appear (e.g. target profiles, faction pages, etc.)

For mobile:

While this script is no longer being actively supported, you may be able to get it working with TornPDA. Check out the instructions for mobile installation on this page.

Using FF Scouter

Now, when browsing player profiles or factions, you’ll see a prediction of the Fair Fight multiplier next to potential targets. This helps you:

Pick the highest-respect targets
Avoid wasting energy on low-multiplier attacks
Make smarter decisions in faction wars and chains

Choose your targets wisely and may all your attacks be 3x!
