• Purchase the Stock Ticker for 50 points from the points market (around a couple million bucks)

• The Stock Market is a great place to store your money away from muggers

• Buy stocks when you want to store cash and sell them when you need it back

• Stocks are relatively stable but have small selling fees, so minimize unnecessary withdrawals

🤑Buy Stable-Value Items

• Many items hold steady value, making them a safe place to store your cash

• Consider Xanax, Points, EDVDs, and other stable or growing assets

• Buy items you know you'll need soon (e.g., Happy Jump supplies) to store value securely

• Use price trends to find good investment items (which you can find by clicking the "value" under the item description.

🤑Use Ghost Trades for Temporary Storage

• Set up a trade with a trusted faction member (ask in the faction Discord)

• Put your money in the trade but don’t accept it—just leave it pending

• The money remains safe until the trade is canceled or expires (6 hours)

• Bonus: You can set up a ghost trade while hospitalized, making it an excellent emergency strategy

🤑Use the Piggy Bank (If You Still Have It)

• New players start with a Piggy Bank that lasts 7 days

• If you haven’t opened it yet, you can store money safely inside

• Once opened, it disappears, so have a new plan before breaking it

What NOT to Do

☠️Don't Carry Large Sums Overseas

• Being overseas makes you a prime mugging target

• Always store or protect your money before traveling if you're not going to fly back out within 15 seconds

☠️Don't Sell Expensive Items Without Protection

• Buy-mugging is a common scam—someone buys an item from you, then mugs you immediately to get an instant discount

• Protect yourself by self-hospitalizing or flying while selling high-value items in the Item Market, your Bazaar, or in trades with unknown players

☠️Don't Deposit Money in the Faction Bank

• Unlike some factions, we do NOT allow faction bank deposits

• Why? Only a banker can return your money, leading to delays and frustration

• The Faction Bank is only used for war payouts

☠️Don't Rely on the Private Island Vault

• Vaults are ONLY accessible to the island owner

• If you are renting a PI, you cannot use the vault

☠️Don't Store Short-Term Funds in Torn City Bank

• The Torn City Bank is great for long-term investing, but once you deposit money, you can’t access it until the investment matures (1 week – 3 months)

• Use it for investments, but not for money you might need soon

☠️Don't Be Reckless in Trade or Global Chat

• Advertising large sums of money or valuable items in public chats attracts scammers and muggers

• Be cautious when discussing big trades or sales
