Before you focus on making money, make sure you’re not losing what you already have! Scammers and thieves are everywhere in Torn. Read our guide on keeping your money safe to ensure your hard-earned cash is protected.

One of the easiest ways to make money early on is by flying to other countries and bringing back valuable items like:

• Plushies and flowers, which other players buy to turn in at The Museum.

• Xanax, which has a high resale value in Torn.

• Other high-demand items that traders buy in bulk.

You can sell these items:

• In your bazaar (which can be purchased with points).

• On the item market.

• To traders who buy in bulk.

Regular flying can provide steady, reliable income while you progress in the game. Make sure you watch out for buy-muggers and scammers!

If you want to jump-start your finances, you can buy Donator Packs with real money and sell them in Torn’s pawn shop for $23.5M each. While this isn’t necessary, it can be a huge help when cash is hard to come by early in the game.

Investing in stocks can provide valuable perks that earn you passive income. To earn the benefit for a particular stock, you have to buy a certain number of stocks. Some example stocks to look at:

• SYM (Symbiotic Investments) – Earn one drug pack every 7 days (sells for about $4M).

• FHG (Feathery Hotel Group) – Earn one Feathery Hotel Coupon every 7 days (sells for over $11M).

Buying enough of a particular stock to earn the benefit can be expensive, but it's a great way to invest extra cash to get a little payoff.

Long-term, bank investments are one of the best ways to grow your net worth. To maximize your earnings:

• Invest for the longest term (three months) to get the best returns.

• Put merits into bank interest to increase your profit.

• Buy enough stock in TCI (Torn City Investments) to get a bonus on your bank interest.

Keep in mind that once you start a bank investment, your money will be locked until the term is complete.

Selling bounty slots is an easy way to make quick cash. Players can only have 10 active bounties at a time, so many buy bounty slots to place additional bounties.
