The conjunctions are the connecting words. They are listed as,
-um, -yum = also (consonant + um ; vowel +yum )
If you use -um at the end of a word, then it is equal to adding also. For example:
njaanum = I also
avalum = she also
aanayum = also elephant ( aana = elephant)
-um, -yum = and (consonant + um ; vowel +yum )
"-um" is used for and . -um is used at the end of both words! For example:
neelayum karuppum = blue and black
njaanum neeyum = I and you
avalum avanum = she and he
allenkil = or
neela allenkil karuppu = blue or black
njaan allenkil ningal = I or you

2) avarku cook cheyyanam enkil = if they want to cook
3) ninaku ezhuthanam enkil ente pen edukaam = if you want to write, you can take my pen
|Since 'enkil' starts with a vowel sound, 'e', and if the word preceding it has a consonant ending, they can be combined.
pookanam enkil => pookanamenkil
aanu + enkil = aanenkil
4) ninaku pookanamenkil avante koode pookaam = if you want to go, you can go with him
5) nee pookuka aanenkil njaanum varaam = If you are going, I (can) also come

Remember that all prepositions starting with a vowel sound, modal verbs (aanu, alla, aayirunnu...) and words like illa, ull'a are combined with their preceeding word. If the preceeding word end with a vowel sound, an extra 'y' is added while combining.
