Building on the insights gained from the Survey, this activity aimed to foster dialogue and exchange of good practices on adult well-being in the post-pandemic world. We wanted to bridge seemingly different fields that all impact adults.
What We Did:
Organized 9 local workshops (three in each partner country) for professionals such as adult educators, HR professionals, health professionals, and representatives from various adult associations (e.g., seniors, youth, sports). These workshops allowed us to exchange good practices and discuss adult needs related to well-being.
Hosted 1 international online workshop, bringing together participants from all three partner countries to discuss the well-being of adults.
Disseminated the results of the Survey during these workshops to inform and guide discussions.
This activity established and strengthened local, national, and transnational cooperation among professionals and organizations. It promoted the importance of well-being and lifelong learning, identifying effective strategies to support adults.

The set of Czech workshops The Art of Well-Being: Life Balance and Time Management took place from October to December 2024. The topic corresponded to the results of the analysis, where respondents unanimously perceived it as an important skill to strengthen their ability to better organize both work time and their personal life.
The workshops were held in Brno, Ostrava and Olomouc and were attended by a total of 70 people. Participants were able to try out practical time management techniques in practice and share their experiences of how they support their wellbeing.

Within the framework of the LEAD-WELL project, 3 local workshops were held by DAFNI KEK, between November 2024 and January 2025.
Attendance of a Theatrical Performance: The Art of Communication (10/11/2024)
The first workshop, entitled “The Art of Communication” (alternative title: From Collapse to Escape through a New Personal Narrative), focused on artistic expression and mental health. The methodology included the observation of a one-act theatrical performance entitled “Broken Telephone”, in which a laid-off advertising executive pretends that his broken telephone is working. The goal of the workshop was to bring together diverse people, watch the performance and then discuss openly with the director Mr. Miltos Nikas on issues of emotional alignment, coping with changes in life/work and the role of digital media in communication. The discussion after the performance invited participants to reflect on daily pressures and the outlets/escapes (“break outs”) that offer them satisfaction, such as cultural experiences and creative activities.
Workshop “Adaptability as a Skill in Life and Profession” (22/1/2025)
This workshop, entitled “Adaptability as a Skill in Life and Profession”, aimed to understand the concept of Adaptability, develop Self-Awareness and Self-Esteem, as well as promote Well-Being through Flexibility. Adaptability was defined as the ability of an individual to respond flexibly, creatively and resiliently to changes, challenges and traumas in the personal and professional environment. One of the key exercises used was the “Smudge”, where participants drew a smudge with their eyes closed and their hand upside down, and then tried to functionally integrate it into a landscape. This activity aimed to highlight the possibility of capitalising on mistakes or failures (“smudges”) and developing determination and control over environmental conditions. The workshop was conducted by Ms. Penelope Vougiouklaki, MA Career & Vocational Counselor.
Creative Skills Workshop: Handicraft as a Means of Communication and Learning (29/1/2025)
This in-person workshop focused on the value of Handicraft as a powerful means of expression, communication and learning, as it contributes to the cognitive and social development of the individual. Creative engagement with the hands (such as painting, pottery or knitting) enhances learning through the development of fine motor skills, concentration and patience, while at the same time promoting creative thinking and problem solving. Furthermore, engagement with handiwork is therapeutic, as it reduces anxiety, enhances self-esteem and is used in therapeutic contexts to restore psychological trauma. In this workshop, there was an experiential understanding of craftsmanship as a means of empowerment and satisfaction, as well as an exchange of experiences with the creator of handmade jewelry, Ms. Hara Sideri.
MASTERING SELF AWARENESS AND EXPECTATION MANAGEMENT; KEYS TO WELLBEING
Our international online workshop brought together 47 participants from three countries Slovenia, Greece and Czech republic. We shared the results of our analysis and opened a discussion on well-being in today’s world. Participants explored two microlearning activities – setting boundaries and recognizing personal triggers and red flags. The workshop closed with self-reflection and a conversation on how to manage expectations in both personal and professional life.
