Bio:

I started singing at a young age around 5-6 years old after falling in love with the musical Mamma Mia! and the band ABBA. Ever since I've grew up with a big interest and love for musical theatre and all types of music.

Experience: I am more self-taught in singing as I started singing alone and never really took any professional lessons. In the beginning of the last college year (2023), I did do some musical theatre classes 3 hours a week to which I enjoyed, and did things such as dance, singing and acting. I have also done some performances in secondary in front of the school and when I was 10-11 I did opera with some friends of mine in the theatre based on Exeter college grounds.

Music I enjoy:

I have come to enjoy many genres of music from pop to disco to rock. I love to find new artist and discover new music through people I meet through life. Some of my favourite artist are people such as the backseat lovers, The Weeknd, Chase Atlantic, Dominic Fike, Tate Mcrae and more.

I love harry styles since his one direction days, and have seen him in concert.

I love music as it is something that helps people express themselves, feel a place of comft. Music is different for many people, for me it is something that helps drown out all thoughts that accumulate in my brain and gives me a sense of calmness since having anxiety music helps a lot. Music is a language for many of people to communicate through, such as first dances at weddings, heartbreaks, friendships, expressing love for friends or family. Music is a world of communication. Even through association.

The future:

I don't have any plans laid out for my future as of right now. I don't aspire to be a musician, or to have a career within the music industry however that could change since I have dreamt of doing musical theatre since a young age but my goal in life is to travel around the world and learn new things about the planet I am kept upon. I would like to show people the music I enjoy and learn the music other have to offer.

Inspirations:

Some artist/people who I took musical interest in are people such as Michael Jackson, ABBA, Michelle Pieffer in grease 2, and Meryl Streep (in mamma mia and more). From the age of 3, I took an interest in Michael Jackson, through watching all his films and listening to his music constantly particular the film 'This is it!', it helped push me into music more and taking a bigger interest in the music feild of life. Musicals especially Meryl in mamma mia and Michelle in grease 2, pushed me more into singing as a kid. Leading me onto a path of singing and musical theatre.

I carried on following Meryl Streep's through her films and other musicals such as into the woods, taking a huge influence by her on a overall aspect through attitude on life and her performance skills.

This are some performnces i have done over the course of this year with some peers.
