Welcome back, Big KIPPsters! CTCs- please click on the "CTC Start Here" tab for all the most important documents.
KIPP Texas Public Schools fully respects and acknowledges requests to have students opt out of STAAR testing; however, under state and federal laws, we are unable to honor this type of request because it is not an option offered in Texas.
Please reach out to your RAC anytime you receive a refusal to test!
All KTX Refusal to Test Documents can be found in the KTX Assessments Google Drive Folder I.
Protocol for Request for Testing Date Change:
KIPP Texas has established testing windows and dates for all assessments. This document is to be utilized if your campus is requesting to administer any assessment outside of the designated testing window or date. You are not required to complete this form for any emergencies that occur during testing as the RAC will provide guidance on how to handle emergencies. Please access the documents linked below for guidance. Please note - the process for SY2025-2026 has been updated from previous school years.
