Karlie Deming - 3c: Engaging Students in Learning

Engaging Students in Learning reinforces the fact that the learner is who does the learning. When educators arrange ambition instruction with all students' needs at hand they will create learning environments that promote positive student engagement.

While at both placements I utilized engaging read alouds to peak students interest and introduce new topics we would be learning about.

While at both placements we implemented the use of brain breaks to enhance student engagement and the overall learning experience of students present in the classroom.

While in both placements I tried to create lessons that tied to events occurring in the real world that involved students and their lives outside the classroom
