The students should be active in the process of creating classroom behavior plans. The students should be provided with clear expectations and know exactly what the repercussions for their actions will be. As for the educator the repercussions should be consistent for all students and should be appropriate for the scenario and grade level.

I have used many different systems to manage student behavior and having multiple different behavioral management systems helps to make your management style more effective not all students will favor the same behavior management system. Try using multiple to reach all students and their interest.
