Domain 2: The Classroom Environment focuses on the environment of the classroom. “The aspects of teaching are not associated with the learning of any particular content, rather support the understanding of all content and is intended for the social emotional needs of the students” (Danielson, 2022) . This particular quote from Danielson demonstrates the importance of the classroom environment being emotionally supportive while addressing the learning needs of the students. Domain two is the component of the framework that encourages students to enjoy school and promotes their engagement. Teachers teach more than just a subject matter to students. Domain two highlights the importance of teachers being intentional when creating curriculum as well as when designing a warm and caring classroom environment. Domain two has five subdomains that each layout a guide so that teachers can implement these techniques and create a universal environment that supports students' growth. Each of these five subdomains as well as a specific classroom example will be thoroughly discussed throughout this section of  the paper.
