Using Questioning and Discussion Techniques highlights the proper use of questioning and discussion. The utilization of questions and discussions should engage the students and promote the exploration of content and allow the students to gain deeper understandings of this material. Teaching by questioning is an effective teaching strategy that poses many benefits to the educator and the students involved.

Midterm goals : Smethport

While at my placement in Smethport I made it a goal to improve my questioning techniques so my students could dive deeper into the learning process. I was used to just providing my students with answers to their questions rather than using other questions to help guide them to the answers they were looking for. The development of this skill helped to enhance my teaching style.
