Our visit to The V&A Shekou
The much anticipated opening of The Shekou V&A on December 1st this year was punctuated by the launch of a series of Secondary Education Workshops. The Grade 8 students were lucky enough to test the debut idea generation workshop in the ‘Values of Design’ exhibition space. Students were led through a series of drawing techniques and inspired by a myriad of contemporary and historical design values. This was followed by an exciting exploration of The “Mind the Digital” exhibition filled with interactive installations displaying the intersection of visual arts and functional design.
