· Co- developed The MYP Digital and Product Design Curriculum for Grade 6-10 mapped to Common Core, British Columbia, NGSS, ISTE and CSTA Standards. Design includes:

Technology Integration, sourcing and management :

I am responsible for the procurement, maintenance and leverage of all resources in the MYP labs.

· Co-developed and resourced a Digital Design Lab

· Advocated and sourced Fusion in Grade 9 and 10 Design

· Advocated and sourced Adobe Education Licenses for the whole school

· 2 D Design in Photoshop and Illustrator

· Multi Media design in iMovie, Premier Pro and Photoshop

· Animation in Keynote and Adobe CC

· Web Design in Dreamweaver and Khan Academy

· Co-developed and resourced a Product Design Lab

· Full DT woodshop including laser cutter and 10x 3- D printers made use of by the school community for curricular and extra mural projects

· Co-developed and resourced 1 Labs Robotics Lab.

· Integrated VEX IQ into the curriculum over 3 years resulting in STEM projects and interdisciplinary units with Math and Science

· Co- developed the MYP and DP Computer Science Programs:

· Computer Science ( Python ) in Codesters, Code HS (Advanced Placement), code.org

· 3 D Product Design (Architecture and Engineering) in Tinkercad and Fusion

· VR and AR Design in Cospaces

· Electronics using Tinkercad, Arduino, Littlebits

· Co-developed and resourced the PYP Makerspace to align the PYP ICT and Design Continuum

The innovation space includes the PYP Makerspace, Robotics Lab and a Shared Space. I co-ordinate the technology and ensure that the space and resources are effectively shared, leveraged and managed.

· Steered CIS/WASC Accreditation Committee ( Access to Teaching and Learning)

· Actioned the ICT Integration Action Plan through developing a whole school ICT integration scope and sequence mapped to The ISTE standards.

Leading Professional Learning

· Initiated concept and Inquiry based coaching within Design team.

· Facilitated ESL coaching within the team through team goal setting.

· Co-ordinated learning walks based on data driven planning and reflection conversations to enhance teaching and learning.

· Represented SWIS as a Professional Development Leader at ACAMIS and 21CL Conferences

· Was on standby to mentor teacher presenters as the schools’ EARCOS Teacher Representative.

· Introduced the ISTE standards to the school and led a community of learning resulting in Design teachers adopting the standards.

· Integrated the SDG’s into the Design Program.

· Mentoring new IB Teachers

· Advocating the importance of interdisciplinary learning and transfer and leading the Math and Design IDU

Extra Mural:

· Facilitated the roll out of First Lego League, Vex IQ and FRC Robotics Clubs.

· Initiated the Vex Virtual Remote Competition Participation

· Proposed and resourced The SWIS Student Media and Sport Reporting Team

· Initiated the Young Founders School Weekend Workshops.

· Selected as ACAMIS Technology Planning Committee member:

· Co-ordinated ACAMIS’ first hybrid conference 2020

· Initiated virtual watch parties 2021 which potentially saved the conference from having to be cancelled and ensured adequate attendance.

Launched the first Global Issues Network ASA.

Advisory and Social and Emotional Learning

· Developed the Grade 8 Advisory Program

· Facilitated the Grade 8 Community Project through leading workshops and co-ordinating the exhibition for the schools community to enjoy.

· Integrated the SDG Goals into the Community Project

· Forged partnerships with local volunteer services and businesses

· Advocated integrating the Common Sense Media Digital Citizenship curriculum within the advisory program which resulted in successful adoption.

· Proposed the integration for Tranquiliti -a data driven social and emotional wellbeing learning management system for the advisory program.
