2021-22- This year, in anticipation of moving on, I handed FLL over to our PYP ICT Coach. This is my intro session and the board we managed to set up.

As part of the ACAMIS Robotics Competitions all primary, middle and high school teams compete in four categories: The Research Project, Core Values, The Robot Game Challenge and Booth Design. Genius Rocs won 2nd place in the Core Values category, coming 2nd by only 1 point to the overall tournament champions GalaxyXYZ of AISG who have been participating as a team for the last eight years. This is an amazing achievement for Genius Rocs in their first year.
The Genius Rocs Core Values are : Discovery, inclusion, respect, fairness, communication and integrity which they explained and demonstrated to the panel judges.
At the heart of FLL is ‘Coopertition' – which means ‘Friendly Competition’ with the motto “ We help opponents to succeed as we do.” Robotics teams are encouraged to demonstrate this coopertition at competitions and this year designed interactive booth activities for all teams to participate in as they visited eachother’s booths.
We are very proud to be the only school from the Shenzhen who made it to the top 3 schools in any of the categories and look forward to continued success in up coming seasons.
