Dear Joanne Anderson,

On behalf of the GEG Chicagoland Film Festival, we want to thank you so much for your students' submission. We were so impressed by the films, and we hope that you had as much fun working on your projects as we did watching them! We received almost ten times as many entries this year as last year and were amazed by the passion and creativity shown by all the participants.

Our team reviewed your film, "Slug Invasion", and we are excited to share that your film is among those receiving "Honorable Mention" at this year's festival.

Given limited event space, we are unable to extend an invitation for you to join the event in person. However, we hope that you will consider having your students revise and submit their films to the Global Student Voice Film Festival which will give them another shot at seeing their film on the big screen this June: studentvoice.org
