ברכת כהנים

Ideally, ברכת כהנים should be done daily (see, for example, רמבם in the opening lines of הלכות תפלה וברכת כהנים; for various reasons why many communities traditionally do not do so, see here). As such, our ברכת כהנים page is not linked to יו"ט (on which it is done universally), rather it sits independently.

In אשכנזי communities that only perform ברכת כהנים by מוסף on יו"ט, the כהנים sing an extended chant while the congregation says תפלות to annul bad dreams:

If the כהנים are not called to the דוכן for ברכת כהנים, the following is said:

ברכת כהנים 5 - שחרית [HB]

ברכת כהנים 6 - מוסף [JC]
