Note: This is the סליחה for which ספרדים are probably most (in)famous for: its joyful proclamation of "we have sinned, please forgive us" has earned the bewilderment of many somber-minded אשכנזים. Perhaps this is one manifestation of the ספרדי perception of 'ה: that of a Loving Father.
