IN A NUTSHELL

To summarize all that I have discussed in the other entries for this e-portfolio, my various experiences in General Chemistry this quarter helped me further improve myself, both as a person and a student.

First of all, this is because I realized that I should stop constantly overworking myself in my tasks, and I should take some time to rest, whenever such is needed. Upon realizing these, I made it a habit to take a short pause or break after completing a particular set of requirements, and this allowed me to stop feeling burnt out or overwhelmed with all the tasks I had to do. Along with that, I learned to be more active and open, especially in groupworks, as doing so will allow us to work more efficiently, as well as connect with one another. Furthermore, I was reminded of the value of our overall attitude in tests, and taking extra time to review topics that I am not really confident in. To explain even further, I saw that we should continuously practice such topics, as well as not “break” under pressure, because these allow us to give our best output in the assessments or other related endeavors.

In other words, throughout the various requirements, and numerous nights preparing for different assessments in this course, I became a more responsible person, who has learned to balance his health with his studies.
