Professional Activity: 2022 - 2023

On Tuesday, April 11th, 2023, I had the opportunity to attend a Professional activity with the Nursing Honor Society. The professional event hosted a nursing panel with two flight nurses from Centra One. It was a great opportunity to learn about the role of flight nurses, the nursing skills they perform, and the education/experience needed. I really enjoyed hearing about the typical day in the life of a flight nurse and also receiving great words of wisdom for aspiring critical care nurses. Overall, this professional activity opened my eyes to the vast nursing careers and piqued my curiosity for my future professional practice.
