Community Service Activity: 2020 - 2021

          On Friday, February 19th, 2021, I joined the members of the Longwood University Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity to participate in a community service project named Buddy Ball. During this service, I worked with children with various disabilities helping them play basketball, volleyball, and soccer. I helped out at this event from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. I was responsible for helping set up equipment, ensuring there were adequate supplies for players, and setting up the snack station. During the event, I was able to work 1:1 with a child assisting them with playing various games. After the event, I helped clean up and put equipment away. Overall, I really enjoyed helping with this project! I was able to appreciate the importance of physical activity and having fun!
