Introductory

As a child, I had always dreamed of becoming a nurse. Naturally, one of the happiest moments of my life was getting accepted into Nursing school, and I realized that this accomplishment was only the beginning of my dream. Now, as a goal-oriented, education-driven senior BSN student who values the concepts of leadership and advocacy, I hope to carry out the skills that I have learned throughout my education all the while gaining new values, skills, and traits that will make me a successful nurse.

I will graduate from Longwood University in May of 2024 with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing
I have over 415 total clinical experience hours in various program simulation and direct patient-care settings
I have experience in the Emergency Department setting through my summer 2023 nurse externship and in the Critical Care setting through my 160-hour senior internship from February 2024 - April 2024
I show a deep dedication to Nursing through my position as peer tutor, vice president of the Nursing Honor Society, and as secretary for the Nursing Class of 2024 Council Board
My skills include leadership, issue resolution, strategic planning, decision-making, communication, collaboration, and commitment, and I have a deep passion for education
