In this VCA report, identify and discuss the objectives of preparing / updating the VCA.
The following may be presented but not limited to:
Identify players and activities from input supply to consumption/ end markets;
Assess relationships of key stakeholders and how it affects the value chain;
Determine and analyze how commodity flows on its different market channels;
Determine profitability of stakeholders based on the Cost and Profit analysis;
Analyze maket and price trends and opportunities;
Identify and analyze different support services and enabling environment along the value chain;
Identify relevant risks and management measures and potential investments in large agro-industry facilities in urban/ peri-urban areas
Assess constraints to competitiveness of the chain;
Identify interventions to address gaps for a sustainable and competitive value chain; and
Formulate upgrading strategies to strengthen identified weaknesses to improve its competitiveness.
