Together

...one face suggests a character; two begin a story

Sometimes one face seems to call for another. I bring stones together, arranging them in pairs or small groups until a relationship begins to emerge.

The stones themselves remain unchanged. Only their proximity is new, yet somehow each one seems different in the presence of another.

Perhaps even stones reveal something different about themselves when they are not alone.
