...when nature takes over

Not everything I find began in nature.

Sometimes an object made by human hands is altered by water, sand, weather and time until it seems to acquire a new identity. Edges soften, surfaces weather, familiar objects become strange, and occasionally a face appears where none was ever intended. 

We made the object. Nature continued the work.
