Hello Community & School Families,

Independent Citizen's for Sustainable School Solutions (IC3S) hosting of Rob Saxton's presentation for the Special Board Meeting scheduled for Feb. 25th was cancelled due to the snow day and campus closure. The February 26th meeting was changed to be the Board meeting instead of the originally planned community meeting. This change was made because the Board, the District, IC3S and Mr. Saxton agreed at the beginning of this review process (in Sept.) that upon completion, the report and recommendations would first be delivered in a public School Board meeting and then the meetings for the community would follow. The February 26th meeting was also cancelled because of the district snow day and campus closure.

On Monday, (Feb. 25th) while figuring out Plan B - we talked with board members and the superintendent about the scenario of Feb. 26th meeting being canceled because of snow day campus closure. We asked if the board meeting could be held off campus in the case of school closure. The answer was no because of board policy and liability extends to any district function on or off campus.

We appreciate your attentiveness and flexibility, and hope the weather cooperates in March.
