Agenda items:

1. Website/feedback portal adjustments/questions responses from Brad Garrett
2. Discussing public meeting laws & our compliance
3. October update/progress report on Rob Saxton's scope of work
4. Preparations & delegating tasks to prepare for Nov. 15th community meeting

Meeting Notes:

§ Questions on the website for Brad. Does it email a receipt? Need to be able to make a comment anonymously. Do we add a request to collect emails to enable sharing future information?

§ Public meeting law information. Discussed rules of public quorum meetings. Discussed definitions and basic rules. Discussed a minimum of 24 hours notice to be issued and basic subjects to be discussed (agenda). The minutes can be posted on our website for the pubic to see. Group reconfirmed that we are not a committee of the School Board, but we are an independent community group overseeing and independent review by Rob Saxton. IC3S did agree to adhere in all meetings with public meeting laws to be in compliance with suggested behavior. This is a choice of the committee, not a requirement .

§ Discussed ways to incorporate notices going to people on how to get meeting minutes out.

§ Discussed issuing a MOU on group and individual roles to the School Board next meeting for an action item.

§ Mikaila will be out of town with limited contact from Nov 5 – morning of the 14^th (reason for calling last minute meeting). While she is away , Cless and Jeff will be sharing the role as contact person for the group. All group members have tasks to help disseminate information about the community meeting with Rob Saxton on Nov. 15^th.
