You can choose any website builder you are comfortable with. This website is made via GoogleSites. I highly recommend using GoogleSites, however the choice is up to you if you are more comfortable with another website builder. The video here gives directions on how to build your own GoogleSlide site.

THE WHY
This personal artist portfolio site is to help you create and organize work in a digital art journal:
You will create a separate page for every work of art and it will contain both your final artwork and your process documentation.
A LINK to your Project Tab will be what you submit for grading in this course.
THE WHAT

What is an Artist Statement?
Artist Statement Guidelines (no longer than 300 words MAX)
You should include:
1) A general introduction to you.
2) It should open stating your basic ideas, themes, values, concepts, feelings about art.
3) The second paragraph should go into detail about your plans of putting what you stated in #2 (above) into your work...how will you show these ideas, these concepts, etc
When You're Finished:
Update the sharing settings on the website or a 404 Error code will appear when the link is shared.
On the site - look in the top right corner at the little person with a plus sign - click, Share with others - and change your "General Access" to anyone with the link.
Share you HOME PAGE link with Ms. Shamburek
On the site - look in the top right corner for a symbol that looks a little like this [--] - click, Copy published site link - click Copy Link - paste this link into a Gchat with Ms. Shamburek
