This one is probably one of my favorite sets I have ever made. It is inspired by a TTRPG character (specifically, a Pathfinder character). They are a Drider, a creature with the upper half of a human and the lower half of a spider. It goes very well with all the figures and creatures included in the Dungeons and Dragons set, perfect for use in TTRPGs as either a character or an enemy.
Probably the biggest thing I wanted to get right with this character was the number of legs. No six legged spiders here! This meant layering a bunch of stud plus bar pieces in a small area so I could attach all the legs without bloating the final set. For this, I took inspiration from the Lego DREAMZzz spider villains. I even started with trying to incorporate the transparent pink brain piece into the abdomen, although that didn't work out in the end. Instead, I went with several styles of slope pieces, including an older V-shaped one, and even added a small slope in the wrong direction at the base to form a spinneret.
Probably one of the cooler techniques I used was attaching a 1 by 2 round plate with hollow holes to one of the bars before connecting the leg, creating a studs not on top section I could use to add in some side armor.
Finally, I also added in a little shrine with plenty of spiderwebs to pose the character on (including a place to hide a minifigure skirt for a human disguise), and gave her a scythe weapon, a hold-over from the original TTRPG character.
