Gloria in excelsis Deo (x2)
VERSE 1
and on earth peace to people of good will.
We praise you, we bless you,
we adore you, we glorify you,
we give you thanks for your great glory,
Lord God, heav'nly King,
O God, almighty Father. (to refrain)
Gloria in excelsis Deo
VERSE 2
Lord Jesus Christ, Only Begotten Son,
Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Fat-her,
You take away the sins of the world,
have mercy on us, have mercy on us;
You take away the sins of the world,
receive our prayer, receive our prayer;
You are seated at the right hand of the Father,
have mercy on us, have mercy on us. (to refrain)
Gloria in excelsis Deo
For you alone are the Holy One,
you alone are the Lord,
You alone are the Most High,
Jesus Christ,
with the Holy Spirit,
in the glory of God the Father.
Amen. Amen

RESPONSE: (Cantor, then all)
You are a priest for ever, according to the order of Melchizedek
The Lord's revelation to my Lord:
'sit at my right hand,
until i make your foes your footstool'
You are a priest for ever, according to the order of Melchizedek
The Lord will send from from Sion
your sceptre of power:
rule in the midst of your foes.
You are a priest for ever, according to the order of Melchizedek
with you is princely rule
on the day of your power.
In holy splendour, from the womb before the dawn,
I have begotten you.
You are a priest for ever, according to the order of Melchizedek
The Lord has sworn an oath he will not change:
'You are a priest for ever,
according to the order of Melchizedek.
You are a priest for ever, according to the order of Melchizedek

Alleluia (x4)
I am the living bread that came down from heaven,
says the Lord.
If anyone eats of this bread, he will live for ever.
Alleluia (x4)

1. Lord accept the gifts we offer
at this Eucharistic feast,
Bread and wine to be transformed now,
through the action of thy priest,
Take us too Lord and transform us,
be thy grace in us increased.
2. May our souls be pure and spotless,
as the host of wheat so fine,
May all stain of sin be crushed out
like the grape that forms the wine,
As we too become partakers
in this sacri-fice divine
3. Take our gifts Almighty Father,
living God, eternal true,
Which we give through Christ our Saviour,
pleading here for us anew
Grant salvation to all present
and our faith and love renew.

1. This is my body, broken for you,
bringing forgiveness, making you free.
Take it and eat it, and when you do,
do it in love for me.
2. This is my blood poured out for you,
bringing forgiveness, making you free.
Take it and drink it, and when you do,
do it in love for me..
Save us, Saviour of the world
for by your Cross and Resurrection
you have set us free,
you have set us free.

Plainchant
Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world,
have mercy on us.
Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world,
have mercy on us.
Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world,
grant us peace.

My Jesus,
I believe that You are present
in this Holy Sacrament of the altar.
I love You above all things
and I passionately desire
to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally,
come spiritually into my soul
so that I may unite myself wholly to You
now and forever. Amen.
Based on a prayer of St Alphonsus Liguorit
Whoever eats my flesh
and drinks my blood
remains in me and I in him
says the Lord.
On the night before He died
He took the bread in His holy hands
blessed the bread and broke it
and gave it to His friends, as he said
Do this in memory of me,
this is my Body, given for you.
Do this in memory of me,
take it and eat it, Remember me:
Remember me.
On the night before He died
He took the cup that was filled with wine
gave thanks to His Father
and gave it to His friends, as he said
Do this in memory of me,
this is my Blood, poured out for you.
Do this in memory of me,
take it and drink it, Remember me:
Remember me.
So each time we eat this bread
and every time we drink this cup
we proclaim your death Lord Jesus
until you come again, for you said
Do this in memory of me,
this is my Body, given for you.
Do this in memory of me,
take it and eat it, Remember me:
Remember me.
Do this in memory of me,
this is my Blood, poured out for you.
Do this in memory of me,
take it and drink it, Remember me:
Remember me.
Remember me.

You who come to me shall not hunger;

3. Unless you eat of the flesh of the Son of Man,
