VERSE 1:
Come back to me with all your heart,
don't let fear keep us apart.

so must we to others' call.
REFRAIN
Long have I waited for your coming
home to me and living deeply our new life.
VERSE 2:
The wilderness will lead you
to your heart where I will speak.
Integrity and justice
with tenderness you shall know. (refrain)
REFRAIN
Long have I waited for your coming
home to me and living deeply our new life.
VERSE 3:
You shall sleep secure with peace;
faithfulness will be your joy.
REFRAIN
Long have I waited for your coming
home to me and living deeply our new life.
Verse 4:
Come back to me with all your heart
Don't let fear keep us apart.
Trees do bend, though straight and tall;
so must we to others call.
REFRAIN
Long have I waited for your coming
home to me and living deeply our new life.

What great deeds the Lord worked for us!
Indeed, we were glad.
What great deeds the Lord worked for us!
Indeed, we were glad.
When the Lord brought back the exiles of Sion,
we thought we were dreaming.
Then was our mouth filled with laughter;
on our tongues, songs of joy.
What great deeds the Lord worked for us!
Indeed, we were glad.
What great deeds the Lord worked for us!
Indeed, we were glad.
Then they said amongst the nations,
'What great deeds the Lord has worked for them!'
What great deeds the Lord worked for us!
Indeed we were glad.
What great deeds the Lord worked for us!
Indeed, we were glad.
What great deeds the Lord worked for us!
Indeed, we were glad.
Bring back our exiles, O Lord,
as streams in the Negeb.
Those who are sowing in tears
will sing when they reap.
What great deeds the Lord worked for us!
Indeed, we were glad.
What great deeds the Lord worked for us!
Indeed, we were glad.
They go out, they go out, full of tears,
bearing seed for the sowing;
they come back, they come back with a song,
bearing their sheaves.
What great deeds the Lord worked for us!
Indeed, we were glad.
What great deeds the Lord worked for us!
Indeed, we were glad.

Father in heaven,
may the faith you have given us
in your son, Jesus Christ, our brother,
and the flame of charity enkindled
in our hearts by the Holy Spirit,
reawaken in us the blessed hope
for the coming of your kingdom.
R:/ To you our God, Eternally Blessed,
Be glory and Praise for ever.
May your grace transform us
into tireless cultivators
of the seeds of the Gospel.
May those seeds transform all of humanity
and the whole of creation in the sure
expectation of a new heaven
and a new earth,
when your glory, O Lord, will shine eternally.
R:/ To you our God, Eternally Blessed,
Be glory and Praise for ever.
May the grace of the Jubilee
reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope,
a yearning for the treasures of heaven.
May that same grace spread the joy
and peace of our Redeemer
throughout the earth.
R:/ To you our God, Eternally Blessed,
Be glory and Praise for ever. Amen
O the love of my Lord is the essence
Of all that I have here on earth
All the beauty I see he has given to me
And his giving is gentle as silence
Every day, every hour, every moment,
Has been blessed by the strength of his love
At the turn of each tide he is here at my side
And his touch is as gentle as silence
There have been times when I’ve turned from his presence
And I have walked other paths, other ways
But I’ve called on his name in the dark of my shame
And his mercy was gentle as silence

Mass of the creation

Plainchant
Spoken
My Jesus,
I believe that You are present
in this Holy Sacrament of the altar.
I love You above all things
and I passionately desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally,
come spiritually into my soul
so that I may unite myself wholly to You
now and forever.
Amen.
Based on a prayer of St Alphonsus Liguorit
Has no one condemned you, woman?
no one, Lord.
Neither shall I condemn you.
From now on, sin no more.
Chorus:
Remember not the things of the past;
Now I do something new,
Do you not see it?
Now I do something new, says the Lord. (repeat 1st , final time)
Verse 1:
In our distress, God has grasped us by the hand,
Opened a path in the sea,
And we shall pass over,
We shall pass over, free at last.
Chorus:
Remember not the things of the past;
Now I do something new,
Do you not see it?
Now I do something new, says the Lord. (repeat 1st , final time)
Verse 2:
In our parched land of hypocrisy and hate,
God makes a river spring forth,
A river of mercy, truth and compassion;
Come and drink.
Chorus:
Remember not the things of the past;
Now I do something new,
Do you not see it?
Now I do something new, says the Lord. (repeat 1st , final time)
Verse 3:
And who among us is sinless in God's sight?
Then who will cast the first stone,
When He who was sinless
Carried our failings to the cross?
Chorus:
Remember not the things of the past;
Now I do something new,
Do you not see it?
Now I do something new, says the Lord. (repeat 1st , final time)
Verse 4:
Pressing ahead, letting go what lies behind,
May we be found in the Lord,
And sharing his dying,
Share in his rising from the dead.
Chorus:
Remember not the things of the past;
Now I do something new,
Do you not see it?
Now I do something new, says the Lord. (repeat 1st , final time)
