Subject (The Experiment)
Once volunteers—or victims—these individuals are the lifeblood of Havoc’s twisted progress. Mutated, enhanced, or mentally warped by unregulated procedures, they are living testbeds for forbidden science.
Intern (The Initiate)
New recruits in their two-week trial. Assigned menial tasks, surveillance logs, or basic codework, all while being observed for loyalty, skill, and how well they adapt to Havoc's unpredictable world. They branch into the following Roles below.
Engineer (The Mechanist)
Architects of Havoc’s infrastructure. These are the minds behind the drones, traps, scanners, and devices that power the network. Precision-focused, they design chaos with mathematical perfection.
Occultist (The Arcane Analyst)
Specialists who combine Havoc’s tech with unstable magical forces. From spirit-channeling devices to temporal field disruptors, they explore the boundaries between science and the unknown.
Biotechnician (The Fleshweaver)
Experts in bioengineering, chemical enhancements, and experimental medicine. Their work includes crafting serums, hybrid creatures, and gene-tampering solutions. (Alt names: Biohacker, Synthesis Specialist, Geneforge)
Innovator (The Wild Card)
Jack-of-all-trades. These multitaskers float between departments, offering fresh ideas, managing minor projects, and prototyping experimental tech—often without permission.
Consigliere (The Whisperers)
Advisors to upper ranks. These members have proven themselves invaluable strategists, recruiters, or handlers. Some run field ops, others maintain external relationships or cover-ups.
Innovator Supreme (The Leads)
Easily spotted by their control over operations, each Havoc Lead directs one of the division branches. Ruthless, intelligent, and rarely seen without a mask or modulator.
Havoc World Lore
The founder of Havoc, Henry Miller, who's name remains almost sacred amongst its members, is the one that is said to guide them. After being brutally taken from his family and friends by a horde of The Corrupt, his brother Thomas Miller, noted the ways in which they tore into the bodies of his surviving collogues and the Supernatural creatures nearby. It had almost been too much for his eyes, but he did not look away.
This is the memory carried into Havoc by the surviving Thomas, and the hatred he held for Aberrations, now known as The Corrupt. Supernaturals were one thing, strange and magical...something in which he longed to study and know, but Aberrations, they were abominations.
Now, after hundreds of years, Havoc remains and still carries the ideal and goal of ending The Corrupt, and finding the answer to Henry Miller's long lost, and very twisted dream, of gifting everyone the power of magic through any means necessary.
Individuals within this organization vary from magical to non-magical, working together in the hopes of finding a ''purer' form of magic once again, and making it accessible to all...for better or worse.
City Lore for Havoc
In 1796, Havoc Appeared in Howling Hills before the Veils ever came to be. No one knows where they came from or how they came to be. But from Howling Hills, their influence spread globally over time. In the early 2000s, Havoc's focus suddenly shifted to focus more on the science behind Corruption. Their influence shifting into Pharmaceuticals and Tech. Its often rumored in Howling hills that one might come across them in these areas of career, though there is no real proof behind that assumption.
In 2009, Havoc issued its first Anti-Corruption Aircraft Test outside of the City of Howling Hills, though the result was devastating. Ending in a lethal crash that killed everyone on board. To this day, the Wreckage of the Test aircraft can still be found just outside the City Veil.
In 2023, Havoc researchers were able to discover that Magic Cores were found to absorb corruption. After this, the local Hospital began keeping Cores ready on hand in case a citizen was bitten so they could get the care they need. Its unknown whether Havoc had a direct influence in the Hospitals changes or not.
