Base HP for players is 3.
To summon a minion it requires mana.
You can have minions/summons if that is fitting for your character.
NPC Minions/Summons
Requires 1 Mana to Summon or Conjure a Minion.
NPC Minions/Summons share a players Action. You get 1 Action roll.
When Players go down in combat, their NPC will also go down.
Examples of NPC Minion/Summons in Active Combat
NPC jumps in front of the player to defend, using the shared Action.
NPC uses a Healing Spell to mend the player, using the shared Action & 1 Mana.
NPC share your HP, so if you have 2 minions, they'd each have 1 HP, and you have 1 HP.
NPC share your Mana pool. If they use a spell, it will deplete Mana the same as a Player Spell.
PC Minions/Summons
Requires 1 Mana to Summon or Conjure a Minion.
Must be used fairly as these have more HP than NPC Summons or Minions.
PC Minions/Summons get their own Action. As they are played by someone.
Only 1 PC summon per PC. Summons can't have/summon minions or summons.
Must adhere to all player rules and must be summoned prior to combat starting.
PC summons will still need to exit combat if their summoner falls unconscious.
Defeat
You must retain 1 HP at all times or you fall unconscious and your minions/summons exit combat.
MANA BATTERIES
How to Obtain
From storing Mana ahead of time into a container to use in combat.
Hud Limitations may apply in the future.
Charging Limitations
Rolling 1-10 fails, 11-20 Succeeds in using. If you fail, the battery is not used.
Mana batteries can only recharge 1 mana per use during combat
Each character is permitted only 1 mana battery each per combat.
The mana battery holder must clearly indicate their intention to activate the battery in a roleplay post and send an instant message (IM) to the Dungeon Master (DM), informing them that they will be utilizing their battery.
Group Recharge
Mana batteries have the unique ability to recharge multiple individuals simultaneously, each receiving 1 mana per recharge.
The name(s) and number of individuals recharged by the battery must be specified in the roleplay post, and the DM should also be informed. (Maximum of 3 per standard combat encounter per mana battery)

How to Obtain
These can be crafted by players out of combat within reason.
Hud Limitations may apply in the future.
Limitations (Does NOT use Mana)
Rolling 1-10 fails, 11-20 Succeeds in using. If you fail, the potion is not destroyed.
Each character is permitted only 1 health and 1 mana potions each per combat.
Healing or Stat restoration from approved potions is capped at 1 Stat Per Combat Usage.
Sacrifices
Individuals may selflessly sacrifice their potions to aid others in need.
If a player chooses to sacrifice their potion to another, it must be removed from their in-character or physical inventory and given to the recipient.
AOE's
AOEs have a 3 turn Cooldown. This means you can only AOE every 4th Turn.
Can only target up to 3 people per AOE.
An AOE uses only 1 Mana for the attack.
AOE can not be used to Bypass a Defender.
DEFENDING
To start defending, a player must use an action on their turn to get into the defense position in front of another player. They remain in that position until the defender is either knocked out of the position (a successful attack lands on them) or they use an action to leave the defending position.
After their turn of getting into a defending position, a player can use future turns to use other actions outside of defending such as attacking and healing.
While a player is defending another player. All attacks to that defended player, will instead go to the defender until a successful hit lands. Any turn after the successful hit against the defender, other players can attack the person that was defended.
HEALING SPELLS

Rolling 1-10 is a fails, 11-20 Succeeds in healing spell. Failing still uses mana
Each player may only have one successful healing spell cast on them per combat.
Sacrifices
Individuals may selflessly sacrifice their 1 successful heal on another player in need.
Healing from spells is capped at 1 heart per player. Can not be stacked with the 1 potion.
