Modern graffiti comes in many different forms, from a message written on the wall to a spray-painted mural on a public building. Many people consider it a nuisance to society while others see it as a form of creative expression. But is it art or vandalism?
To begin with graffiti can certainly be artistic. It can be colourful, beautiful, and expresses feelings and ideas. In particular, many graffiti artists invest a lot of time and effort in their work and are highly skilled. As a result, their work should be considered a form of creative expression.
On the other hand, not all graffiti is art. Some graffiti involves little thought or skill. For example, there are those who simply grab a can of spray paint and fill public property with their names or rude drawings. As a result, it costs the public huge amounts of money to clean up.
In conclusion, graffiti can truly be art, and we must not automatically say it is always a bad thing. However, with the wrong intentions, it can also be an act of vandalism, which is unacceptable.
