The Micro Wedding Photography Package

The opening up of the UK has finally begun and since covid lockdown measures have been eased brides across the UK are desperately trying to secure their big day with a reputable, trusted local photographers and videographers. As a wedding photographer and video company based in Manchester, NW of England I have seen a trend and an increased demand for smaller low key and lower budget wedding photography packages. Of course the big day still demands high quality images and a professional service from a trusted local supplier but the modern trend seems to be for smaller, lower cost wedding photography and video packages.

You may question why this has become a trend and how as a professional wedding photographer what can we done to adapt. For me it was a no brainer, I looked at my photography and video packages then stripped then back to the bare bones. Brides can now book me to shoot their wedding either locally or further afield by booking my services by the hour with a minimum 3 hour basic deal. This gives my couples the chance to decide how long they need my services with a locked it start and finish point.

Every couple now knows exactly what they are paying for and of course can extend the day if they decide more photography or video coverage is needed. Micro wedding packages have been a big hit with my clients and bookings have tripled over the last few months. My business has hit the ground running since the middle of July 2021 and my wedding couples have been amazed with outstanding images, creative videography at a price point that fits their budgets.
