Don’t let your faith be shaken. All of the Bible is God’s word to man, not just the Torah. The Yahudim movement is wrong and attempts to throw away most of God’s word. But God through the prophets and apostles wrote down the word of God, which begins from Genesis and ends at Revelation.
Every part of the Bible is needed. Otherwise, you would only have Genesis and the laws of Moses. If we only have that, how can we live according to that when we don’t have a temple or sacrifices or Levitical priests?
If you only believe in Moses and laws, you are not even a Christian and you wouldn’t be saved. The law shows that we sin. So we need a Savior to save us from sin. Jesus is our Savior who died for our sins and paid the penalty of sins on the cross on our behalf. Without Jesus, we have no atonement for sins.
Even Old Testament saints believed in the prophets who spoke about the Savior. These prophets mostly prophesied about the Messiah in the books after Moses. For example, the prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, Micah, and even king David prophesied about the Messiah.
So you can’t throw away most of the Bible. Doing so is like listening to Satan who asked Eve in the garden of Eden whether God really said what He said.
Yes, God really said what He said in His word from Genesis to Revelation. We even have archaeological evidence confirming God’s word. For example, we have archaeological evidence for king David, Babylon, and Pilate who gave the order to crucify Jesus.

We have a tunnel made by King Hezekiah unearthed.

And we have many more archaeological finds besides these.
The Bible can be entirely trusted.
Regarding Jesus’ name and Mary’s name, those names are the Greek translations of Hebrew names. Jesus (Iesus) is the Greek translation of the Hebrew name Yeshua. And Mary is the translation of the Hebrew name Miriam. The New Testament portion of the Bible was written in Greek, because most of the places around Israel spoke Greek at that time.
The Bible was written in three languages: Hebrew for most of the Old Testament, Aramaic for the later part of the Old Testament period (because of captivity of Israel into other nations), and Greek for the New Testament (because Greek was a universal language at the time).
It was done this way so that more people can understand God’s word and be believers. God’s word is not just for the Jewish people but it is for the whole world.
The Greeks and Romans did not edit God’s word. God is powerful enough to preserve His own word. His truth reigns forever. So God’s word is the same today as it was when He first spoke through the prophets and apostles, and had them write down what He wanted to say.
It is ok to call Jesus by His Greek name, because that was what He was known by the early Christians, especially the early Gentile Christians. Only Israelites or the Jewish people call Jesus Yeshua.
This makes sense because we have different names for people today in different languages. My nickname Sarah is Sarah in English, but it is Sara in Spanish because Spanish usually doesn’t have the letter “h” as an ending for names. In Chinese, my name would sound like Sa La because the Chinese language would translate many “R” sounds into “L” sounds.
So similarly, Jesus having a name (that is a translation of Yeshua in Hebrew) in the New Testament is perfectly normal, especially because God wants all the nations to believe in Him.
You need to trust God as your Father. If you truly trust God as your heavenly Father, you would believe what He tells you in His word, and not listen to people who try to deceive you and tell you not to trust Him.
Jesus said, “Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:3) Children do not doubt their own parents, but they trust their own fathers. So you must also trust God that what He tells you in His word is true.
Also, in order to be saved, you must believe in Jesus who died for your sins. Therefore, you cannot throw away the New Testament. If you don’t believe in Jesus, you will not be saved. Your own good works cannot save you. No matter how good you follow the Law, you have sins and have broken the Law. Good deeds cannot cancel out any bad deeds.
Even Old Testament saints expected and waited for a Messiah. Now that the Messiah has already come, do not reject Him by throwing away most of the Bible.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him...
The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand. He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." (John 3: 16-17, 35-36)
Hang on to all of God’s word. It is your anchor in life. Those who attempt to add to the Bible or subtract from it are cursed. Those in the Yahudim movement are cursed, because they want to subtract from God’s word.
“I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book.” (Revelation 22:18-19)
