I don't drink a lot of alcoholic drinks, but I do enjoy them from time to time. Some are very special to me as they bring back fond memories of those I love.
Here you're find both, drinks with alcohol and drinks without.
I can't remember where I first had boba tea but I was a fan immediately and started making it at home.
This is a great drink to experiment with, you can follow my recipe or branch out and try other teas, different syrups and special flavorings. Hint I use sometimes use orange syrup instead of simple syrup because I usually have some in the house.
I am generally not a coffee drinker but I do have coffee on occasion and when I do it has to be a good, properly made cup.
I also use coffee to flavor various desserts so understanding how coffee is made is key to a good final product. Knowing how to brew coffee in various ways is important as well and each method has its advantages and disadvantages.
Here are my go to methods and ratios.
For many years Sunday has been family day which means getting together with my mom's side of the family. Dinner was typically preceded by appetizers and a drink for some of us. My Grammy would almost always have her "Blue Cosmo", which is really a raspberry martini but I wasn't going to tell her that.
This easily beats any powdered "lemonade" I've ever had. Keep a batch of this syrup in the fridge for really hot summer days when you want some good instant lemonade. This also makes a nice sweet tea for cold winter evenings. I've made gallons of lemonade with this syrup for parties.
This is also great drizzled over ice cream and fruit pies.
