This part of the exam tests your ability to write non-fiction texts in a variety of styles/genres: letter, article, speech, leaflet, and essay. Although the quality of your communication was assessed previously, this is the main question for exam paper 2 where the examiner will be looking closely at your spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Make sure that you proofread your work! People miss their grade by 2 or 3 marks regularly and proofreading is worth 16 marks all by itself!
