At the beginning of this cue, we can hear a variation on the Jigo Theme for a little bit of levity before the battle starts.
As the camera pans upwards, a 5/4 timpani pattern plays. This is the rythmic idea that is associated with the Irontown. As Lady Eboshi speaks for the first time, we can hear the ominous Eboshi Chords (A#m - G#m6). The people of irontown recognise a tribe of wolfs moving in their direction. We see the wolfs in a wide shot and the Wolf Tribe Theme plays in its full glory. But the people of irontown prepair themselves for the attack and the 5/4 beat mixes with the chords of the Wolf Tribe Theme. We can see the wolfs moving towards the humans and the Wolf Tribe Theme plays again, but as Eboshi gives the signal to fire, the Eboshi Chords (A#m - G#m6) emerge. While we can see the first shots of these iron weapons, the score plays a harsh and rythmic idea. But as the wolfs run further, a variation of the Wolf Tribe Theme plays again. And as we can see a static shot of the people of irontown, firing with their dangerous weapons, the Eboshi Chords (A#m - G#m6) play. After that, there is a huge contrast in the music as we see Ashitaka riding through a forest. The music is in quartal shape, adding a tranquil element and the opening notes of the Ashitaka Theme can be heard. But now, back to the battle as we can see the wolfs running through the wasted terrain. A variation of the Wolf Tribe Theme plays but, again, the people of Irontown fire with their guns and we can hear the Eboshi Chords (A#m - G#m6). As they shoot, the musical technique of onomatopoeia can be heard, the percussive hits of the music synchronized with the shots of the weapons.
After that, Lady Eboshi talks with her henchman Gonza and the Eboshi Chords (A#m - G#m6) play in combination with the 5/4 timpani pattern. As the camera pans up and we see Moro, the mother of the wolfs, running agressively towards the people of Irontown, the Wolf Tribe Theme bursts out. While Moro fights for her children, there is a battle of themes between the Wolf Tribe Theme and the Eboshi Chords (A#m - G#m6). The Lady Eboshi Theme itself is not yet revealed to the viewer, since, at this point in the story, we don't know much about her. But as Moro is defeated, we only hear one low tremolo note in the strings, holding on as she falls off the cliff.
The battle ends and as Lady Eboshi and Gonza discuss the situation, the Eboshi Chords (A#m - G#m6) play at a very high register at first, but get lower and lower as the scene progresses, ending with a big A#m chord, swelling in intensity as we cut back to Ashitaka, ending the cue.
