We start this cue with Ashitaka looking at the Irontown workers during their work, while the 5/4 beat Irontown Theme plays. The camera zooms in on the women and we get the The Women Of The Irontown Theme with staccato trumpets.
As Lady Eboshi arrives at her secret garden, we get the Lady Eboshi Theme played by a harp in a mysterious setting. Ashitaka sees secret workers who are producing weapons for the Irontown and the Lady Eboshi Theme melody is being played by clarinet with a counter melody in celesta. This music continues as Lady Eboshi talks about her plan to wage war against everyone else. Ashitaka suddenly speaks against this plan and we hear the Ashitaka Theme in a very pure form. He gets angrier and angrier and the Ashitaka Theme plays even more aggressively with the usage of a contrabss ostinato. Ashitakas demon arm suddenly wants to grab Ashitakas sword to end Lady Eboshi and the Demon Theme, played by trumpets, emerges at once.
The music returns just as the old Osa begins to speak. Because Osa is talking directly to Ashitaka, the first opening pitches of the Ashitaka Theme are being played with flutes and horns. As Osa mentions Lady Eboshi, we can hear the Eboshi Chords (A#m - G#m6), alongside the signature instrument of the Lady Eboshi Theme, the clarinet. Osa talks about how Lady Eboshi cared for him and the other people, who are having lepra. During this section, a mysterious celesta melody plays. The music builds up with the opening pitches of the Ashitaka Theme in flutes and horns. Then, there is a smash cut and the music ends abruptly, ending the cue.
