Fitting Tool

中文/English

This tool is using for fitting the εr (relative permittivity) curve by using Drude + Lorentz models.

The optical properties of relative permittivity can be obtained in book, paper or this website

save the xls file : RefractiveindexINFO.xls

In this website the optical properties save as wavelength vs n,k

(The relationship of εr and n,k is : Epsilon_real part= n^2-k^2, Epsilon_imag part= 2nk)

Then import the optical properties data RefractiveindexINFO.xls

(1). Select the wavelength unit in "import file" (example : if select um, then the wavelength * 1e-6)

(2). read file, the website file use the (n, k) ==> press the 【import n,k button】

(3). Plot the optical properties to check if correct.

(4). Select the model number, parameters that will be used to fit.

(5). To calculate, output the 【DrudeLorentz_FitOutput.Mats_Single】file while finished.

(6). Comparison of experiment data and fitting results, if not good enough, then redo (4)-(6)

There are different Drude ,Lorentz models fitting results

And then push the 【載入參數(Load)】button to load the DrudeLorentz_FitOutput.Mats_Single file

result
