Fibric Weave Canvas (Recipe)
Generates weave diagrams with a COPs setup
Generates weave diagrams with a COPs setup
The Weave Canvas is a utility node inside Houdini COPs designed to build and edit weave diagrams. It provides a template with all the necessary ingredients to define fabric structures, offering several creation methods such as:
Paint
Hand-painting directly on a canvas and processed in COPs.
Texture
Importing an image as a diagram source.
Paint on Texture
Using an image as a base with the ability to paint on top
Free Canvas
creates diagrams by combining COPs nodes.
Paint on Free Canvas
Free canvas + Paint
The node allows you to preview the diagram in real time in 2D, giving instant feedback on how the weave will look. Once finalized, the diagram can be exported as an image to be stored in a library or connected directly into a Fibric_pattern node to drive fabric generation.
