This node allows you to project and wrap custom curves onto your fabric, making it ideal for adding elements such as embroidery, decorative lines, or imported curve data.
To place the curves correctly, the node provides a UV-flattened preview of the mesh (green output). This preview represents the geometry laid out in world space using its UVs (P = UV), giving you a clear 2D canvas to position your curves.
Users should create or position their curves directly on top of this flattened view. Once applied, the node will automatically reproject those curves back onto the original 3D fabric, preserving their placement accurately.
Basic setup of Fibric Arbitrary Curves
Name
Sets the primitive name.
Width Scale
Scales the width attribute if present, otherwise defines it.
Offset
Offsets the curves.
Resample
Resamples curves for more uniform point distribution.
Root Tip Width
Remaps width from root to tip along the curve.
Color
Overrides or sets Cd. To use the input color, make sure Cd exists as a point attribute.
Fibric
Fibric upstream data
Mesh
Mesh from upstream
Fibric
Fibric output data

Mesh output
UV Preview
UV flatten mesh, useful for 2D placement of arbitrary curves.
