Fibric UV Stamp generates a uv3 UV set that acts as a frozen checkpoint of the current UV state at the point of insertion in the network. Unlike the default st UV set(st), which is derived from the interlacing structure based on weave/knit topology, uv3 captures the relaxed point positions at a specific moment in the simulation or deformation history.
This is particularly useful downstream of high-deformation nodes such as Fibric Damage, where the fabric has undergone significant stretching, tearing, or relaxation. Stamping the UVs at different stages opens the door to properly mapping dirt textures or even decals. You can easily invoke this UV set using the Fibric UV Transform shader, available for both Karma and Arnold.
