Custom Stitch Config

Overview

Stitches Custom Config is a utility node designed to prepare and configure custom stitches for use with the Fibric_Stitches node. It allows users to connect drawn custom stitch patterns and preview how they will repeat across the garment, ensuring the stitch design works as intended before applying it to the final stitch curves.

General

• Name
  Attribute name of curves.

• Visualize
  For when users draw curves directly onto the 3D mesh geometry using a Draw Curve SOP node.

• Visualize Spacing
  Generate curves procedurally from textures using an internal trace SOP node, but with UDIM texture support.

• Orientation
  XY plane - unique value, to inform the virtual plane to use

• Width
  Sets the base width of the custom stitch.

• Resample
  Resamples curves into even-length segments.

• Smooth
  Relax curves without increasing the number of points.
