Fibric Damage is a modifier that brings realism and character to garments by adding aging, tearing, and organic imperfections to cloth. It works by selectively removing geometry and introducing controlled distortions, with support for attribute-based masks or image textures to define where damage occurs.

Selection
List of Fibric products to be affected by Fibric Damage.
Adds organic, randomized deformation to cloth points using a controllable noise pattern. Adjust frequency and amplitude to dial in the intensity and scale of the distortion for natural wear and surface detail.
Frequency (x,y,z)
Controls the scale of the noise pattern.
Amplitude
Controls the intensity of the distortion.
Safe Collisions
Forces deformation to remain outward-facing, reducing the risk of collisions with internal meshes.

Offsets curve primitives with controllable noise to create natural yarn shifting and deformation effects.
Frequency (x,y,z)
Controls the scale of the noise pattern along the curves; higher values create more frequent shifts.
Amplitude
Controls the intensity of the curve offset; higher values create more pronounced yarn displacement.

Random Amount
Remap of the Width by using the raw damage mask.
Seed
Multiplier of the width value for weft yarns.
Controls fabric tearing using an input mask that drives yarn width reduction. The mask acts as a gradient (0 = no effect, 1 = full tear), progressively thinning the yarns until they disappear.
By default, width acts as the master control, and its mask is shared across all tearing features such as Noise, Keep Threads, and Leftovers. Each feature can optionally use its own custom mask if needed for more localized control.
Remove by Width
Removes any point with a width below the specified value.
Mask Threshold
Threshold of the mask that affects the "remove by width"; it works optimally with smooth/soft masks.
Dedicated noise for tearing. Behaves like Global Noise, but by default uses the same mask as Width.
Retains a percentage of threads from tearing, allowing custom remapping of width and noise for those preserved fibers.
Keep Weft Percentage
Percentage of weft yarns preserved after tearing.
Keep Warp Percentage
Percentage of warp yarns preserved after tearing.
Weft Width
Width of preserved weft threads.
Warp Width
Width of preserved warp threads.
Random
Random width of preserved threads.
Dedicated noise for "Keep Threads". Behaves like Global Noise, but by default uses the same mask as Width.
Creates new fibers around tear down areas for realistic fraying and wear (similar to Fibric_Fuzz's "Edges Fuzz" feature).
Enable
Toggle left overs on or off.
Resample
Adjust the number of points per curve.
Density
Control the density of left overs with randomization and masking options.
Length
Set the length of left overs with randomization and masking options.
Width
Control the width of left overs with randomization and masking options.
Root/Tip Ramp (Width)
Remap width distribution along the curve from root to tip.
Noise
Add procedural noise along left over curves with adjustable frequency, offset, and amplitude.
