Fibric Deform is a deformation node designed to apply animated or simulated mesh transformations to fabric products. The node utilizes UV coordinates from both Fibric products and anim/sim cache and rest just from the cache to precisely wrap the curves.
Beyond basic deformation, Fibric Deform includes advanced features such as tearing that breaks fibers when fabric stretches beyond defined thresholds, width control overrides for fiber customization, procedural noise distortion for organic variation, and the ability to transfer attributes from the animated cache to the deformed Fibric output.
This node serves as a critical bridge between cloth simulation and the Fibric pipeline, enabling CFX and VFX departments to seamlessly integrate simulated dynamics into fiber-level geometry while maintaining full artistic control and customization.

Subdivide Mesh Guide
Add's subdivision to sim/anim cache mesh before wrapping it to Fibric products
Breaks fibers when deformation stretches points beyond a defined distance threshold from their rest positions. This non-simulation approach is highly performant and delivers convincing results for most use cases, though it requires the animated cache to exhibit natural tearing behavior for optimal results.

Threshold
The distance tolerance before fibers break during deformation.
