Interactive Design
Assignment 1
Objective: focus on creating a UI design prototype for your digital resume or curriculum vitae (CV) using prototyping software such as Adobe XD or Figma. The UI design prototype will showcase the layout, visual elements, and user interface interactions of your digital resume.
Content and Structure:
Prepare the content for your resume, including personal details, education, work experience, skills, projects, and other relevant sections.
Decide on the order and hierarchy of sections based on their importance and relevance.
Layout and Visual Design:
Design the layout of your digital resume using the chosen prototyping software. Define the placement of different sections and how they will flow together.
Apply a consistent visual design using typography, color palette, and appropriate spacing.
Sections and Organization:
Organize your resume into logical sections, such as "Profile," "Education," "Experience," "Skills," "Projects," and "Contact."
Prioritize sections based on their relevance and significance to the position you're targeting
Visual Elements:
Incorporate relevant images, icons, or placeholders that align with the content and enhance the visual appeal of your digital resume.
I've designed a few versions of my digital cv before getting the desired results...
ver 1.0
cover page couldn't effectively showcase "what is an interactive spatial designer", try a more catchy way for the hero section
the design is too fancy and playful, not proper enough for a CV design
donut
colour palette choice is a little bit childish, might need to reconsider a less playful colour scheme
font choices not good enough
don't arrange the profile details in a slanted manner
decrease the stroke weight, or just remove the lines (unnecessary, makes the design messy)
remove unnecessary lines and elements
no need to fill up all the empty spaces in the design
should organise the technical skills into groups, and show how well you mastered the skills instead of just putting all the logos of the apps at one place
After receiving feedback from Mr. Shamsul, I reconsidered my whole CV design and decided to come out with a whole new one. So I started working with my version 2.0, planning to make it more tidy and less playful
I avoided chosing pinkish and creamy purple colours for my second design, and changed the typography choices to make it more formal.
I also tried to connect the sections together, by pulling the boxes and making them long enough to overlap with the next section.
But I'm still not satisfied with the outcome, and changed the colour palette for a few times.

After all the ammendments, I finally decided to make the 3rd version of my design.
