Despite advancements in smart home technologies, these solutions often do not cater to the unique needs of this demographic, continuing to persist, affecting elderly wheelchair users. Research and user interviews highlight the urgency of addressing this problem, emphasizing the physical and emotional consequences of current inadequacies.
